Afro Latino Dance School

The dancing school Escuela the Bailes Afrolatinos have been set up in September 2006 with the idea to offer dance and music enthusiasts the opportunity to be introduced in a world of rythms and movements, rich in melodies and styles.

In our school you can learn Tango, Salsa, Flamenco, Afro-Brazilian, Belly Dance, Classic Dance, etc.
All these rythms are part of a history of centuries of emigration, conquests, mestizations, mixes and exchanges of people.

This history represents multiple aspects of music and dance, which, whether it’s called Tango or Salsa, has travelled for ages in the suitcases of emigrants. Emigrants who, while their hearts were filled with nostalgia and desires to return, also wanted to settle in their new country and therefore became the inventors of these joyful dances.
For that reason we opened the school with the idea to be ourselves and to give to you just a little bit of who and what we are, afro latino culture.

Our school has professionals of Cuban, Argentine, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian, Colombian origin, etc. These artists are known in the dancing entourage in Belgium and Europe and can take any student to teach and deepen these rhythms.

We offer courses for children and adults on all kinds of levels.
